The question I am often asked is “Can I lose weight doing karate.” Keeping the answer as simple as I can is, If your calorie intake remains the same, then Yes you will lose weight.
To clarify this a bit deeper, when you burn more calories you tend to eat a bit more to compensate. So what is the answer?
Consume less food OR start replacing unhealthy foods with healthy alternatives.
Not feeling hungry is the key to long term weight loss and better health.
The best way to start to control your weight is to work on your mindset. This means that you have to tell yourself everyday that you are going to change into a fitter healthier you. Then take steps, (even if they are small ones) to change your life.
