Ninjas & Dragons Black Belts

Congratulations on achieving your Black Belt.
When you have achieved this level you are known as “Kohai Sempai” which means Junior or under senior black belt. In Bukido you are not a fully recognised black belt until you have earned your full Sho-Dan, at this point in time you are a Sho-Dan Ho (probationary black belt).
So to be recognized as a full black belt, the following requirements must be met:
1   An age colour stripe must be worn on one side of the belt. (Yellow for Ninjas, Blue for Dragons.)
2   One year of extra training at one class a week. Or six months averaging twice a week.
3   One minute full demo including at least one other person. (Dragons must have two people in demo.) To be done on a grading day.
4   A letter from your school teaching acknowledging your good behaviour at school.
5   Showing your ability to teach at least 4 students all-together. (Dragons 5 students).
6  Showing proper respect to higher grades at all times (including using correct titles.
